Explorers of Navoria is soon to have a new expansion launching on kickstarter; World’s Edge.

If you’re unfamiliar with the base game, in Explorers of Navoroa you’re exploring new continents that have risen from the sea, drafting tokens to add cards into your tableau to build settlements, gather resources and travel further into these new lands.

You’ll use the same tokens to claim bonuses from different locations in the mainland, all with the goal of becoming the most renowned explorer!

What changes?

When the continents rose from the ocean, so did tales of dragons at the edge of the world. In World’s Edge you have an additional quest to save the dragons and their eggs from their crumbling continent which is about to drop off the edge of the world.

New asymmetric player boards require different items and provide different rewards

New townsfolk cards are added, allowing you to explore the dragon’s continent, collecting points and eggs as you move around the track.

Add rescued eggs to your personal track, unlocking bonuses as you go. You can play with identical or asymmetric tracks, so lots of variety here!

There’s a whole new continent to explore! Fly around in your blimp collecting eggs and points.

A new location overlay means that during the ‘gather’ phase you’ll have opportunity to gain eggs or move your blimp further around the track.

Take a mission card at the start of the game which is completed when you have the required number of townsfolk of each type in your tableau providing instant bonuses.

Solo mode

World’s Edge includes a new solo campaign – the King’s Letters.
✉️ Each chapter has different rules and objectives, but in all of them along your journey you’ll collect Kings Letters.
✉️ Trade letters for various benefits depending on which King’s Letter tile you play with, and how many letters you spend.
✉️ You’ll draw a solo difficulty card at the start of the game which will give you a unique income and end game scoring ability.
